This 1998 Bentley Brooklands R Mulliner Long Wheelbase is a rare and highly desirable example, one of only 100 special edition Mulliner R models produced (number 96). Its numbered fascia plaque confirms its place within this exclusive series, created to celebrate the Brooklands prior to its replacement by the Arnage.
Finished in a distinctive purplish metallic paint and complemented by contrasting cream hide interior trim, this car epitomises Bentley craftsmanship. The interior features two-tone electric seats, Lambswool carpets, dark burr walnut woodwork, and Bentley wings embossed on the head restraints. Other unique touches include a perforated hide-trimmed sports steering wheel, drilled brake pedal, chrome instrument bezels, and a chrome gear knob. The exterior is enhanced by 18-inch single-spoke alloy wheels, mesh-capped wing vents, body-coloured door mirrors, an oval exhaust tailpipe, and — unusually — the optional chrome radiator shell, original from new.
