One of a mere dozen of these 420 hp very special automobiles known to have been supplied for US delivery, this example has traveled slightly over 14,000 miles since new. All of these high speed sport saloons were optioned to suit. They are widely regarded as the finest sedans ever produced by the company, and it is unlikely that the new (Volkswagen) owners will market anything to approach their performance and quality in the forseeable future. Finished Masons Black with specially ordered duotone Tan and Black interior, this specimen is nicely equipped with matrix grille insert, front wing side vents, chrome 18″ wheels, drilled alloy pedals, embroidered winged “B” motifs to the headrests, optional chrome binnacle to the instrument panel, lambswool overlay mats and more.
