The Bentley Turbo R, on which the Turbo S is based, was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1985, as the successor to the Bentley Mulsanne.
The Turbo R achieved unusually high sales for the Bentley brand and became the bestseller in the company’s history. A total of about 6,000 vehicles were produced. It was not until 1997 that the model was replaced by the Turbo RT.
Before production ended in 1996, a special model limited to 75 units was built, the Turbo S. This had another significantly increased engine, which now released over 420 hp (60 hp more than the Turbo R) and a huge torque of 800 Nm. These cars are now absolute rarities that hardly ever come onto the market.
This rare Bentley Turbo S is the number 53 of only 75 built vehicles. The car was delivered to a manufacturer from Herrliberg by the traditional Swiss Bentley specialist Schmohl AG in Zurich. The car is made in a beautiful and highly classic colour combination: Sherwood Green with a leather interior in parchment and dark green keder.
Only in 2016 and with only 60,000 km the car became the second and last owner. It still presents itself today in a fantastic condition, which is only very rarely encountered. The lacquer and the interior are extremely well-kept, with only minimimst traces of use. A rare and highly desirable Bentley, with the monumental 6.8-litre V8 Turbo engine. A great automobile pleasure.
Of course, all the original keys, remote control and the complete tool set are available. The vehicle is sold from service and MFK.
