I sold this Bentley Brooklands 10 years ago to long standind client of mine who has had a number of Bentleys over the years. This car is finished in Royal Blue with parchment hide with blue piping. The car has a total of 36,000 miles from new and can only be described as perfect. The car has had its BHP increased by Cosworth in the UK. This car is number 85 out of only 100 built. These cars have now become very rare and are now very collectable.

The saying “never change a winning team” is something they took very seriously at the winged B. After the success of the Mulsanne, Mulsanne Turbo, the Eight and Turbo R, the Brooklands R was the Mayan cigar of the humidor. Right, the best (and most expensive) so! Based on the Mulsanne, this was the last truly boxy Bentley to be shared with its bigger brother Royce.
The 6.75-liter eight-cylinder was fitted with a low-pressure Garret turbo for the ‘R’, giving almost full power from 2,000 rpm. Pretty nice for your driver Charles, with merging. You quickly betrayed your ‘sportier’ choice at the high-tea thanks to the mesh grille and large air intakes on the front bumper. Then those extra 75 Polo horses could breathe better!
Ours? As you’ve come to expect, a little extra special. A limited edition of 100 of which this number is 85. Recognizable by the oval pipe, beautiful Peacock Blue paint , green enamel Bentley badges, and 325 HP pulling the enormously heavy body forward like nothing.
The interior richly filled with Connolly co with special double stitching. The last owner invested over 65,000 in it including an extremely nice sound and navigation system. Belfast delivered, perfectly maintained and documented. So all in all this is the nicest Brooklands R Mulliner you can buy. She’s warmed up and ready sir!
